Munster to face Barbarians at Thomond Park

NEWS: Munster will face the Barbarians at Thomond Park in a historic double-header for the province.

Munster’s women’s and men’s squads will face the respective invitational sides on Saturday, September 30.

Thomond Park previously hosted the Barbarians in November 2017, marking a historic milestone as the inaugural women’s fixture for the Barbarians side, with the Munster Women’s side serving as their first opposition.

While this will be the first time the men’s sides face each other, the world’s most famous invitation side did play Tonga and Ireland on their previous visits to Thomond Park.

Coming in the pre-season window, the occasion will allow players valuable game-time in preparation for their respective club seasons, promising an exciting exhibition of attacking rugby.
