Rolland withdraws from semi

Alain Rolland of Ireland, appointed to the Heineken Cup semifinal between London Irish and Toulouse has been forced through injury to withdraw.

The former Irish scrumhalf will be replaced by the former Irish cricket captain, Alan Lewis.

This semifinal at Twickenham will be Lewis’s third tournament semifinal and his 52nd Heineken Cup match. He has refereed more Heineken Cup matches than any other referee, amongst them seven quarterfinals.
