Italy coach brings in uncapped duo for Scotland clash
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Italy head coach Kieran Crowley has revealed his matchday 23 for Saturday’s World Cup warm-up clash against Scotland in Edinburgh.
There are two uncapped players in the starting XV in the form of fullback Lorenzo Pani and scrumhalf Martin Page-Relo.
Flyhalf Tommaso Allan will form a halfback pairing with Page-Relo, while Tommaso Menoncello and Luca Morisi will combine in the midfield.
Pierre Bruno and Monty Ioane will join Pani in the back three.
In the pack, the front row will consist of Pietro Ceccarelli, Epalahame Faiva and Federico Zani.
Andrea Zambonin and David Sisi will form the second row and Federico Ruzza will captain the side from the back row.
Ruzza is joined in the loose trio by Toa Halafihi and Manuel Zuliani.
