WATCH: Bok Women get pack boost for Italy
WATCH as South African women received a timely boost ahead of the final round of WXV 2 action in Cape Town.
Springbok hooker Lindelwa Gwala took part in the training session on Tuesday morning at the Hamiltons Rugby Club in Green Point.
The hooker, who plays for Ealing Trailfinders Women in London, sustained a calf strain last month during training.
The injury saw her miss the matches against Japan and Australia but is set to start this weekend against Italy.
During Gwala’s absence, Western Province’s Roseline Botes was in the starting line-up and really impressed against Japan and Australia.

Meanwhile, Jakkie Cilliers will miss the Round Three encounter due to a head injury.
Cilliers sustained the injury during last week’s 26-33 defeat to Australia.
The Bulls Daisies’ back left the field in the opening minutes of the match, leaving the kicking duties to flyhalf Nadine Roos.
The Springbok Women will name their team to face Italy on Thursday.
The side take on Italy at Athlone Stadium on Saturday, followed by another WXV 2 clash between Scotland and Australia.
