All Blacks XV ease past Japan XV
MATCH REPORT: The All Blacks XV started their Japanese tour with a comfortable 38-6 victory over a Japan XV in Tokyo.
The team from New Zealand scored five tries on their way to victory with the Japanese outfit only mustering two penalties.
Flyhalf Stephen Perofeta was the star of the show for the visitors. He was a constant threat on attack and he scored a try as well.
The home side opened the scoring with a penalty before Perofeta scored his team’s first try of the match.
The flyhalf then added two penalties to the scoreline to give his side an 11-6 lead at the break.
It was all one-way traffic in the second half with Jack Goodhue, Etene Nanai-Seturo, Alex Nankivell and Folau Fakatava all crossing the tryline.
Perofeta and Cameron were successful with some conversions.
