There is more than just the singing at their home internationals and love for rugby that endear Wales rugby to the followers of the game.
They are a force in international rugby. SA vs Wales rugby has over the years played some extraordinary tests - from a surprise Springboks win on their first tour overseas under Paul Roos in 1906 when they beat the All Blacks’ conquerors of 1905, to the first win by Wales (29-19) at the new Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in 1998.
It followed two defeats the previous year to the Springboks at Loftus Versfeld (96-13) and at Wembley Stadium (28-20), and It took Wales 12 matches over 93 years to record their first win.
