U20: Junior World Trophy starts

The Junior World Trophy kicked off in Nairobi on Tuesday with a disappointment for the host nation when Namibia beat them.

The match between the two African countries was by far the closest of the day. In fact the Namibians went ahead in the dying minutes of the match, even though their forwards had increasingly dominated the match. In those last minutes they missed two penalty kicks at goal and twice were held up over the line till right wing Nathan Oosthuizen chipped, collected and scored under the posts.

Eight countries are taking part, teams divided into two pools of four teams each.
