All Blacks hunt 17 winning streak record

The Test between the two sides does not have much impact on the Rugby Championship title, given the All Blacks have already won the title last week with their victory over Argentina in Buenos Aires.

However, the pursuit of that illustrious 17 consecutive Test victories record should ensure a highly intense match.

The All Blacks created the record between 1965 and 1969, and equalled it between 2013 and 2014, while South Africa won 17 consecutive internationals between 1997 and 1998.

Whether they play home or away, the group of 2016 have proven themselves to be the best and will want to continue on that path. They first win occurred in Auckland on August 15 against Australia.
