Kiwi Pihema ‘caught’ sober

Northland Taniwha utility forward Owen Pihema was “busted” driving sober by police at the weekend.

Pihema had been driving players from Kerikeri to Paihia on Saturday night when he was stopped and breath tested by police.

Tony Mackereth, the traffic alcohol group's senior constable who pulled Pihema over, said it's fantastic to “catch” a high profile sportsman doing the right thing.
