PICTURE: Bok star returns to training in Cape Town

SPOTLIGHT: There were a couple of familiar faces on the training field at the Stormers’ headquarters in Bellville this week.

One of them is Springbok prop Stevn Kitshoff.

Kitshoff has been out of action since April after suffering a knee injury while playing for Ulster in a Challenge Cup quarterfinal defeat to French side Clermont.

That injury kept him out of the two-Test series against Ireland this month as well as this Saturday’s clash against Portugal in Bloemfontein.

However, On Wednesday, the Stormers posted a picture of Kitshoff in training along with centre Ruhan Nel, who is also making his way back from a knee injury he suffered against the Sharks last December.

Kitshoff returned to the Stormers after just one season with Ulster.

He will also be eager to contribute to the Springboks’ cause later this year.
