Pop music sends Racing 92 back to old ground

NEWS: Racing 92’s French Top 14 play-off will have to be moved to their old stadium due to a concert by pop artist Mylene Farmer at their new La Defense Arena, the club’s coach Laurent Travers.

The Parisian outfit left Stade Yves-du-Manoir in the city’s suburbs in December 2017 after more than a century but Canadian born singer-songwriter Farmer will take over the indoor arena ahead of a series of residency gigs starting on June 7.

Racing sit in fourth in the league and are expected to claim a home match on either May 31 or June 1 after the end of the regular season as they have a better points difference than fifth-placed Castres.
