Cheetahs say 'farewell' to star flank

NEWS: The Cheetahs confirmed the departure of another star player.

Friedle Olivier is heading to Japan.

Oliver joined the Cheetahs in July 2022 – from Enisei-STM, which competes in the Russian Premier League.

The flank made his senior debut in 2013 and played for the Falcons for seven years, before moving to Russia.

Free State Rugby said they are “disappointed” to see him go.

“Free State would like to thank Friedle for the 41 games he played in the orange jersey and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
