‘Lekker’ support for Rassie
VIDEOS: The South African Rugby Legends Association sent a special message of support for Rassie Erasmus.
In a very short festive season video South African legend Keegan Daniel, SA Rugby Legend Association (SARLA) President Gavin Varejes and supporters made it clear where their loyalties lie.
The group were wearing green jerseys with ‘Rassie Supporters’ written on the back.
The SA Director of Rugby Erasmus is currently serving a double suspension that was handed down by World Rugby following the famous 62-minute video.

While World Rugby suspected the ban would serve as a lesson not only to SA Rugby and Erasmus, it seems like it has elevated Erasmus’ already hero-like status.
SARLA is not the only group that made a special holiday video for Rassie, South African franchise the Pumas also joined in the festivities.
The Currie Cup side with coach Jimmy Stonehouse was singing a famous South African Rugby chant in support of the SA Director of Rugby.
Erasmus commented on the video, stating it is ‘lekker’ to have support.
