Watch as Rassie warns 'entitled' Boks
South African Rugby’s Director of Rugby took to his newly created Twitter account to publish a frank discussion with players about what it means to be a Springbok.
Erasmus, in a two-part video he posted on Monday, reveals a discussion he had with players in the build-up to the victorious World Cup campaign last year.
Erasmus, using himself as an example, explains how players become ‘entitled’ and that have their careers cut short.
“[It] might be interesting to some of you that there is more to team selection to just what you do on the field,” Erasmus wrote in a caption to the video.
“As I found out the hard way [by being] entitle.”
* Language warning. Erasmus uses some profanities in A very emotive speech!
