VIDEO: Young thugs face big bans
WATCH as two Two young players, from the Western Province and Eastern Province Under-19 teams, spark a brawl that will most likely earn them both lengthy bans.
Both unions have promised ‘stern’ action against WP wing Christian Ambadiang and EP fullback Dylan le Roux.
They were red-carded after Ambadiang was tackled by Le Roux and the duo exchanged punches.
In the video of the shocking punch-up, the referee can be heard twice asking Ambadiang if he wanted to punch the match official as well.
As the jog off the field, the pair exchange words, before Ambadiang grabs Le Roux and headbutts him – before the fighting escalates again.
