Wales get SANZAAR full-house

Wales, currently ranked fourth in World, will continue their mantra to test themselves against the best as they line up against all eight of their highest ranked opponents over the course of 14 fixtures next year – including facing New Zealand three times and England twice.

 

Following the Six Nations, where Wales will take on four of their top nine ranked opposition, Warren Gatland's side will then face England (ranked eigth) again at Twickenham on May 29 as they prepare for their three-Test tour to New Zealand to take on the top ranked World Champions.

 

Australia (second), Argentina (fifth) and South Africa (third) will then visit Cardiff as part of Wales' autumn campaign to round off a full set of fixtures against each of their fellow top nine ranked sides.

 

Wales kick off 2016 by facing reigning Six Nations Champions Ireland (sixth) in Dublin on Sunday February 7.

The following weekend Wales take on Scotland (ninth) in a sold-out fixture on Saturday February 13.

 

France (seventh) are then welcomed to Cardiff on Friday February 26, before Wales travel to face England on Saturday March 13.

Wales' Six Nations commitments conclude against Italy (12th) i Cardiff on Saturday March 19.

 

Wales travel to Twickenham for the capped match against England on Sunday, May 29 – before they depart for New Zealand.

 

Gatland's side will kick off their tour against the World Champions in Auckland on Saturday, June 11.

They will travel to the head coach's hometown of Hamilton for a midweek fixture against the Chiefs on Tuesday, June 14 – before their second Test against the All Blacks in Wellington.

 

The final clash of the series will take place on Saturday, June 23 in Dunedin.

 

Wales will welcome four teams to Cardiff in November next year.

They will face Australia, Argentina and South Arica as part of a four-match series over consecutive Saturdays – with the fourth fixture to be confirmed.
