Bayonne mum on drunken trio

Bayonne have opted not to release the outcome of their disciplinary action against Wales scrumhalf Mike Phillips and the New Zealand duo of Stephen Brett and Dwayne Haare.

The trio were called to a meeting with Bayonne directors on Tuesday after allegedly turning up drunk at a video analysis session earlier this month.

The Top 14 club said in a statement that they did "not intend to communicate on recent developments as reported by the press.

"The whole club is focused on the upcoming fixtures starting with the reception of Montpellier this Friday at Stade Jean-Dauger."
