Davies blow for Wales

Wales looks set to be without Jonathan Davies for most, if not all, of the Six Nations.

The British Lions centre was ruled out until the start of March with a pectoral muscle injury.

Davies' regional team, the Scarlets, said Thursday that they don't expect Davies to be back playing until early March, leaving him potentially free only for the matches against England on March 9 and Scotland on March 15.

He sustained the injury during Wales' loss to South Africa in the November Tests.

Davies has formed a brilliant midfield partnership with Jamie Roberts in recent years.

Wales, the reigning Six Nations champion, starts the defence of their title at home to Italy on February 1.
