Irish lose star duo

After have suffered a blow with news that centre Gordon D'Arcy and loose forward Jamie Heaslip will miss the third Test against New Zealand.

D'Arcy suffered a calf strain, while Heaslip has a broken finger and both players have been ruled out of contention for Saturday's final Test in the three matches series.

Heaslip is a particularly big loss, as the powerful No.8 is one of Ireland's best players and his absence will be felt in the team.

Ireland team management have called up Ulster center Paddy Wallace as additional cover, while no replacement will be sought for Heaslip with just one Test still to play.

Captain Brian O'Driscoll and prop Mike Ross both suffered minor facial injuries in Saturday's match in Christchurch, but have been passed fit to remain with the touring team.
