Kings' import 'tired' of waiting

Frustrated French hooker Virgile Lacombe has threatened to leave the Southern Kings after he was recalled from their overseas Super Rugby tour.

Lacombe and Argentine loose forward Tomas Leonardi were last week axed from the touring party and replaced by Edgar Marutlulle and Devin Oosthuizen respectively following an investigation by the South African Rugby Union of a breach of its Super Rugby participation agreement.

As one of four foreigners on the Kings’ books, Lacombe is yet to feature for the franchise in Super Rugby and voiced his frustration on Plus Sport Rugby.

"I'm a little tired," he said.

"I want things to be clear. I need a quick answer. I came to play Super Rugby, not to make money or anything.

"I broke my contract with Toulouse, which was not finished. I made sacrifices to come and in the end, the only reason I came is not respected.

"I'll try to get a deadline early next week whether or not the bosses can put four foreigners in a side. If they cannot, I think I'll try to break my contract."
