Lutui cited for dangerous tackle

Edinburgh hooker Aleki Lutui will appear before a Pro12 disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.

Lutui was cited for foul play, contrary to Law 10.4 (e) – Dangerous tackling.

This followed the weekend's Pro12 match between Ospreys and Edinburgh – won 44-10 by the Welsh outfit.

A hearing will be held before an independent disciplinary committee of three on Wednesday, September 25, in Dublin.

* Law 10.4 (e) – Dangerous tackling. A player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously.
