No Parisse for Azzurri

Italian coach Jacques Brunel surprised by "resting" captain Sergio Parisse for Saturday's Six Nations match against Ireland.

Robert Barbieri will take Parisse's place at No.8 to allow the skipper him to prepare for the following weekend's match against England.

Lock Marco Bortolami has been named captain of the side for the trip to Dublin.

Prop Martin Castrogiovanni, currently tied with Parisse as Italy's most capped player, will set a new record when he makes his 105th appearance.

Italy have lost all three their Six Nations matches this season.
