Bakkies on the hunt

Bakkies Botha's recall to the Springbok team has been preceded by his favourite pass-time – hunting.

Botha, who currently plies his trade with French Top 14 club Toulon, was recalled to South Africa's national team on Monday – ahead of the year-end Tests against Wales (November 9), Scotland (November 17) and France (November 23).

He hasn't played for the Boks since the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

Last week, on the eve of the Currie Cup Final, he took a trip out into the French woods and hunted some wild boar.
