Falling fast
There has been massive movement in the Rugby365 SuperBru pool after a bumper round of Currie Cup matches.
The Sharks took a bite out the Lions to throw the hunt for second place wide open, The Bulls all-but-ended the Pumas hopes of finishing in the Top Four, WP scored a late try to cement their spot on top of the log and guaranteed themselves a home semifinal and Griquas demolished the Kings which boosted their chances of finishing in the Top Six
Bomber has finally been dethroned on top of the standings by Bunker Billy who jumped three places after being a new entry into the Top Five in Round Eight.
This round's winner of the Yellow Cap is SuperA whose haul of 6.83 points helped him jump 62 places into 46th on the standings.
There are only two survivors from last round's Top 5 with Bunker Billy sitting in first place and Heronimus climbing into second. Wieta, gav.scott10 and Hoof Hearted makes up the rest of the Top Five with the latter being the highest jumper of the quintet.
Top Five after Round Nine:
1. Bunker Billy 41.17 (up three places from fourth)
2. Heronimus 40.75 (up three places from fifth)
3. wieta 39.75 (up three places from sixth)
4. gav.scott10 39.00 (up 11 places from 15th)
5. Hoof Hearted 38.75 (up 19 places from 24th)
Despite being this week's biggest faller (dropping 28 places) among the Rugby365 team, LionKing is holding on firmly to the bragging rights as we head into the business end of the competition.
MdV repeated the cardinal sin of not making his picks in time but, to his relief, it had no bearing on his position as he remains in 83rd place.
DJP2 continues to slide down the table after falling 11 places while Tommy is clutching onto his wooden spoon:
70 – LionKing 33.00 (down 28 places from 42)
83 – MdV 32.50 (no change)
87 – DJP2 32.25 (down 11 places from 76)
153 – Tommy 28.75 (down four places from 149)
