Heavy weather
The Blitzbokke's trip to the Gold Coast Sevens has been delayed due to thundershowers.
The team were due to leave Johannesburg for Sydney on Monday but were forced to make an emergency landing at the Waterkloof Air Force base and consequently missed their flight to Australia.
Captain Kyle Brown tweeted:
Pretty stoked to be alive, hit heavy turbulence on the way to jhb and got diverted to Waterkloof… Indefinite delay. #guptagate #round2

However it was not all bad news, as the extra time in Johannesburg meant that they got the chance to train at Ellis Park.
