Metalhead’s power play in the final round saw him win the rugby365 Rugby Championship prediction challenge this weekend.
rugby365 writer Michael de Vries headed into the last round in pole position of our SuperBru pool but failed to add to his tally after backing the Springboks and Pumas to beat the All Blacks and Wallabies respectively.
Metalhead scored just one point in Round Six having gone with the Wallabies to win in Rosario but it was enough to see him snatch top honours with 19.25 points and relegate De Vries (18.50) to third place.
Johna bagged 2.50 points to shoot up 32 positions and finish second on 18.50 points, while goggy won the yellow cap after claiming 2.75 points.
rugby365 writer Quintin van Jaarsveld dropped 17th places to finish 57th (15 points) and editor Jan de Koning dropped two places to finish 102nd (13.50 points).
Meanwhile, Marius maintained his place at the top of our SuperBru pool after Round Nine of the Currie Cup this weekend.
Marius is in first place on 36.25 points with JP moving into second place on 35 points and Quiksilver staying in third place on 34.75 points.
On the rugby365 side of things, De Vries moved up to 25th place (29.50 points), Van Jaarsveld improved to 52nd place (27.75 points) and De Koning dropped to 224th place (11.50 points).
LongHorn won the yellow cap for the second week in a row after securing six points.
