Off the hook

Siya Kolisi has spent most of his time since his Bok call-up fielding calls from his hometown.

The Stormers flank was a popular addition to Heyneke Meyer's squad across the country given his committed performances in Super Rugby this year, but none were more delighted than the people of Port Elizabeth.

The Grey PE old boy admitted that he has not had much time to himself since he joined the squad, with the majority of calls coming from his hometown.

"My phone was going mad, especially with people from PE. They say they have been waiting especially for me and JJ [Engelbrecht], because we went to school there. So it is a great vibe because they say they can't wait for me to get a chance," he said.
