Pollard joins running of the Bulls

Junior Springbok and Blue Bulls flyhalf Handré Pollard has returned to training with his teammates on Monday.

It is likely he will be considered for the Bulls' Round Two Currie Cup encounter with Griquas at Loftus Versfeld on Friday.

Blue Bulls team doctor Org Strauss confirmed on Monday that Pollard has recovered fully from a shoulder injury and looks set to be available for selection.

Wiaan Liebenberg (concussion) and Jacques du Plessis (shoulder) will only train on Tuesday, Strauss said.

Unfortunately there was not such good news for stalwart wing Akona Ndungane, who will be out of action for another week following a hamstring strain.

Courtnall Skosan has also been cleared after a quad strain and will be fit to travel to London, where the Blue Bulls will play in the inaugural World club Sevens at Twickenham.

The long term injury list still consists of Basil Short (knee), Francois Hougaard (ankle), Cornell Hess (knee), Deon Stegmann (shoulder), Arno Botha (knee), Pierre Spies (bicep), Louis Fouché (knee) and all will be out between three to six months.
