Prop blow for Bulls

Waylon Murray and Handré Pollard has been given the green light to train ahead of this week's crucial Currie Cup match against Griquas in Kimberley.

However, the struggling Bulls outfit will be without prop Morné Mellett – who has been ruled out for at least six weeks due to a neck injury.

According to Blue Bulls team doctor Org Strauss both players have recovered from ankle injuries, although Pollard will only train on Tuesday.

Jacques Engelbrecht (shin), Rudi Paige (neck), Tony Jantjies (knee), Ulrich Beyers (ankle) and Francois Venter (foot) also missed training on Monday, but will be fit to train on Tuesday.

Bongi Mbonambi (knee) and Jean Cook (thumb) will return to action next week.
