Warrior not guilty of gouging

Worcester Warriors loose forward Richard de Carpentier is free to play after the citing case against him was dismissed by an RFU disciplinary hearing.

De Carpentier had been charged with making contact with the eyes/eye area of an opponent, Northampton's Calum Clark, contrary to Law 10(4)(m), in the Premiership match between the sides on November 30.

He was found not guilty by the panel of Mike Hamlin (Chair), Austin Newman and Adrienne Lucking sitting at the Coventry Holiday Inn (J2, M6).
