SIX NATIONS NEWS: Exeter Chiefs second row forward Sam Skinner and Glasgow Warriors back row forward Matt Fagerson were added to the Scotland squad.

Respective hamstring and rib injuries ruled the pair out of the initial selection – announced by coach Gregor Townsend last month.

Both players earned their Test recalls by impressing for their club sides since their return.

Skinner last featured for Scotland in last year’s pre-World Cup warm-up Test win over France at Murrayfield, when he sustained the hamstring injury that would rule him out of contention for the global showpiece.

Fagerson’s last Test outing came the following weekend, in the away win over Georgia in Tbilisi, with the 21-year-old narrowly missing out on the Japan tournament.

Edinburgh wing Darcy Graham returned to training last week (Friday), while Gloucester second-row Alex Craig has been released from the squad back to his club.
