Sharks hold onto speedster
NEWS: One of South Africa’s fastest rugby players has extended his stay with the Sharks.
On Friday it was revealed that wing Yaw Penxe has signed with the Durban side until 2022.
The speedster first joined the Sharks from the Southern Kings on a short-term deal last year.
In a tweet, the Sharks described Penxe as a player who “quickly impressed with his outstanding performances in the black and white jersey”.
On Friday it was also revealed that wing Madosh Tambwe has left the Sharks for the Bulls.

Tambwe’s new deal will see him making Loftus Versfeld his home until June 2023.
Tambwe, who was born in Kinshasa; the Democratic Republic of the Congo, joined the Sharks in 2020 from Lions.
