In near perfect conditions, with the sun at their backs, it was Grey who started the game strongly and were soon in front after converting a penalty.

An intercept by the College outside centre, Ant More, saw him score after a good sprint down the left touchline, putting College in front for the first time.

A further penalty to Grey saw the deficit cut to one point before a well worked try to the Grey flyhalf put Grey back in front before the half-time break, leading 16-7.

With Charlie Fleming doing outstanding work on the ground soon after the restart, a well thought-out crosskick by Murray Wilson saw captain Alex Menage score, reducing the deficit to just two points.

A wonderful set piece move by the College backs saw Ant More over for his second, putting College back in front.

An important penalty conversion by Murray Wilson saw the lead extended to a vital eight points with not much time left on the clock.
