Wannenburg suspended

Two South Africans, new to French rugby competitions, have been before a disciplinary committee and suspended.

Springbok Pedrie Wannenburg moved from Ulster to Castres this season and was sent off in their match with Grenoble in Round 2 of the Top 14 for receiving two yellow cards in the match.

He has been suspended for 10 days and may resume on 4 September.

Wouter Moore, a 28-year-old lock, who moved from the Sharks to the Blue Bulls and then to the Golden Lions and then to Italy, joined Béziers in Pro D2 this season and was sent off in the match between Béziers and Brive in the opening round, also for getting two yellow cards and also suspended for 10 days., He may resume playing on 5 September.
