World Rugby's June Referees
There is just one Test on 2 June when South Africa play Wales in Washington, DC. After that they both head south – South Africa for a three-Test series against England and Wales down to South America to meet Argentina.
Two of the matches are World Cup qualifiers between Samoa and the team labelled Europe 2, which would be either Spain or Romania, depending on the outcome of Spain's appeal against the referee of their lost match against Belgium.
There is also an interesting series in Australia when Ireland, the winners of a Six Nations Grand Slam, play three Tests there while New Zealand engage France.
It is a wonderful time for the top match officials of the world as they swan around the world trying so hard to get things right. It's a demanding time for them.
