Here we give stats concerning getting possession, mainly at scrums and line-outs.

Sanctions are interesting and we shall discuss it more fully in a separate discussion tied in with the Heineken Cup. Noël Oelschig of the Cheetahs was cited and suspended for attacking Tatafu Polota-Nau of the Waratahs from behind. He was suspended for just a week, the leniency perhaps a surprise. But there was no citing of Neemia Tialata for attempting to throttle Richie McCaw, an ugly incident, and no citing of anybody for the scrap in Durban after the final whistle of the match between the Sharks and the Reds.
