Statistics - 6 November Tests, Wk iii

We have stats from six matches over the weekend – Scotland vs South Africa, Wales vs Canada, Ireland vs New Zealand, France vs Pacific Islands, Italy vs Argentina, and England vs Australia. We also have some averages.

The weather was much better than the weekend before but even the weather could not help with the playing surface in the elegant stadium in Turin which kept cutting up and left the referee with an enormous task at every scrum. To his credit he eventually got things wrong but it was not the sort of match to take around the country in the hope of increasing rugby’s popularity.
