Sanctions
Carl Hayman of New Zealand became the first recipient of a yellow card. He was not the only one.
There were sanctionary cards on this day for Akapusi Qera of Fiji, Mauro Bergamasco of Italy and Nathan Hines of Scotland. Bergamasco gave away three penalties in the first eight minutes of the match, the third an early tackle in a potentially try-scoring situation for Scotland.
