Super 14 Final -Stats

The Sharks and the Bulls’ met at ABSA Stadium in Durban and the Bulls won a cliff-hanger 20-19. Here we give some statistics of the Final.

Only one scrum was reset. It was reset twice. That means there were two resets in 16 scrums – 12,5%, as against the average for the 2007 Super 14 of 31,6% and the semi-finals average of 33,3%.

Sanctionary Cards

None, though Bryan Habana was probably close to one near the start of the match when he tackled Percy Montgomery who was in the air. But then Butch James may have been fortunate at a tackle. But it was a match without malice and dishing out cards would have been mere formalism and not advantageous to the game or the occasion.
