Steve Walsh will referee that match with a cosmopolitan group of match officials. He is an Australian New Zealander, his assistants are South African and French and his TMO is Irish. There are four other nationalities in the other two fixtures – nine nationalities altogether.
Stu Berry gets his first Super Rugby refereeing opportunity this year after his horrible broken arm of last year.
In England there is the Final of the LV= Cup, for Anglo-Welsh competition.
The USA Rugby Elite Cup kicks off this weekend. Springbok André Snyman coaches the Glendale side.
