There are several warm-up matches for the 2019 Rugby World Cup, three of them involving World Cup participants. Referee Jaco Peyper was in Auckland, New Zealand, last week and this week is in London. Have whistle, will travel.
In South Africa’s Currie Cup, the Premier Division has its last round of league matches with only one team sure of going to the semifinals and one team not sure of going to the semifinals, and there are the semifinals of the First Division provincial matches.
In New Zealand the Heartland Championship starts.
In France the two professional competitions, Top14 and ProD2, start.
