Refs for Varsity Finals
The match officials have been appointed to the three Varsity Cup Finals to be played at the Fanie du Toit Stadium in Potchefstroom on Monday, 7 April 2014. There are also the two Finals the week before, Varsity Shield and Young Guns.
The Western Province duo of Marius van der Westhuizen and Cwengile Jadezweni will referee the Varsity Cup Final while the Francois Pretorius will referee the Koshuis Final and Jaco Kotze the promotion-relegation match between University of Johannesburg, who came bottom of the log, and the loser of the Varsity Shield Final.
The Varsity Shield Final between Cut and UKZN will be played at CUT Rugby Stadium in Bloemfontein on Monday, 31 March 2014 with Quinton Immelman to referee it. The Young Guns Final will be on the same day but at LC de Villiers Stadium in Pretoria. Lesego Legoete will referee that one.
