The Sharks have slipped to five successive URC defeats, but at least last weekend in their 10-12 loss to Zebre they picked up their first bonus point of 2023/24.

The Sharks are winless in their last eight Championship fixtures against Irish provinces, including a 22-all draw at home to Munster last April.

Connacht’s perfect start to the new URC season ended with their 22-25 defeat at Edinburgh last weekend.
