Bok to miss Munster's Irish derby

INJURY NEWS: Springbok centre Damian De Allende will not feature in Munster’s crucial United Rugby Championship (URC) match against Ulster on Saturday.

Munster confirmed that the Springbok is unavailable for selection having suffered an abdominal injury during the week.

The 30-year-old’s injury is a big blow for Munster, who recorded a shock defeat to COnnact last weekend.

De Allende has been a prominent figure in the Munster set-up since joining the side in September 2020.

Munster, who are currently seventh on the URC table,  are scheduled to take on Ulster on Saturday.

While the other URC matches will see Edinburgh visit Cardiff and Glasgow face Ospreys.
