Jake White suffers broken collarbone in bicycle accident

NEWS: Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White is set for some time away from the training field after he broke his collarbone in a bicycle accident on Saturday.

Blue Bulls Rugby Union president Willem Strauss revealed the news and said White may need surgery.

“Our best wishes goes out to Jake,” said Strauss.

“He fell off his bicycle and broke his collarbone this [Saturday] morning.

“He might need to be operated [on].

“He is more than our coach; he is our friend as well.”

The Bulls recently returned home from a four-match tour in the United Kingdom in their United Rugby Championship campaign.

The Pretoria side only recorded one win and are currently 15th in the standings.

Their next match will be against Munster at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, November 27.
