Kolbe gets another French reward

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Springboks wing Cheslin Kolbe can’t put a foot wrong in France.

The World Cup final hero latest achievement saw him being named Player of the Month in the French Top14.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for the Top14 side Toulouse, scoring five tries since the French tournament resumed after the Covid-19 lockdown.

Aside from his heroic performances in the Top14, the Kraaifontein-born Springbok also helped his team a European Championship Cup semifinal before falling short against Exter Chiefs.

Kolbe will certainly play a vital role for the Springboks, should they decide to partake in the Rugby Championship starting on November 7.
