French club Grenoble revealed that the 32-year-old has signed a two-year contract with them.

The club currently plays in the second tier of French rugby, which is called the Pro D2.

Schoeman has been with the Lions since 2018. He previously played for the Blue Bulls, Pumas and Griquas.

He also represented the Junior Springboks in 2009.

“Marnus is a very experienced player with nearly 150 matches in Super Rugby, Vodacom Cup and Currie Cup to his credit,” said Grenoble General Manager Fabien Gengenbacher.

“He is a very active loose forward and he is very efficient in the ruck zones.”
