Pumas forced to change

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse has been forced to tweak his victorious team for the trip to Pretoria on Friday.

The Pumas will face a much-changed Bulls team at Loftus Versfeld in a Round Two Currie Cup match on Friday.

The injury suffered by seasoned front row forward Corné Fourie forced a front row reshuffle.

Fourie, who suffered a serious knee injury in the 39-10 win over the Lions in Nelspruit last Friday and will almost certainly be sidelined for the season, has been replaced by Dewald Maritz – who came off the bench last week.

To complicate matters for the Nelspruit-based outfit is that Morgan Naudé, who missed the Lions game with a calf injury, remains sidelined.

Ruan Kramer comes onto the bench as front row cover for the Loftus outing.

The only other change to the starting XV is in the midfield, where Matt Moore (pictured below) – who impressed when he came off the bench last week – will make his first start for the Pumas in place of Ali Mgijima at inside centre.
