Rassie's lekka debrief after Wales series

WATCH South Africa’s Director of Rugby Johan Erasmus gives his view of the just-completed two-one series win over Wales.

Erasmus, who is still being banned from being involved in any matchday activities, addressed the team and defended the decision to make 14 changes between the first and second Tests.

“It hurts so bad when losing a Test, but what we learned about the players and their character under trying circumstances with a little over a year to the World Cup was invaluable,” the SARU boss said.

“It’s never fun getting a loss next to your team in a Test match. It’s really not lekka!”

He also had a message to the fans, thanking them for their support.

“We certainly take note of your opinions,” he said to the fans.

“We definitely make mistakes and sometimes upset you with our plans and decisions, obviously that’s not because we want to but simply because we think that’s the best for South Africa.
