South Africa knows this all too well with the likes of WP Nel, Cornel du Preez (both Scotland), Abraham Steyn, Dario Chistolini (both Italy), CJ Stander, Rob Herring (both Ireland) and Daniel Kotze (France) having represented their 'new' countries in the 2018 Six Nations competition.

Some indeed migrated young, others as established players looking for a better opportunity to experience international rugby.

With former Springbok coach Peter de Villiers now in charge of the Zimbabwean, we can only wonder what that nation could have achieved had they had the likes of Don Armand, Dave Ewers, David Pocock, David Denton and Sebastian Negri as an exciting potential loose trio.

The same can be said for a number of other countries as well.
